|The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) seeks a new President.
On behalf of the Board of Commissioners of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, we are seeking a leader who can recognize the challenges NWCCU faces in leading the Commission and institutions toward success. Highly qualified candidates with at least ten years of senior level administrative/academic experience and first-hand knowledge of regional accreditation in the Northwest are encouraged to submit materials for consideration as a candidate for the position of President of NWCCU.
Dr. Paul Reichardt, former Provost at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and former member of the Northwest Commission, is chairing the Presidential Search Committee. The President Search process has been developed and the Search Committee anticipates accepting application submissions beginning April 1, 2017. Open until filled, review of candidates’ submissions will begin on April 30, 2017.
The Commission anticipates that the successful candidate will assume the position of President on September 1, 2017.
Thank you for your commitment to sustaining regional accreditation in the Northwest.
Joseph Brimhall, DC
