Mar. 9, 2022 ⋅ Categories: NWCCU
The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities’ (NWCCU) Nominating and Development Committee is interested in seeking nominees for election to serve as a Public Member or an Out-of-Region Member of the Commission. The Committee is particularly interested in nominees that are representative of the diversity of NWCCU institutions and region.

Nominees for election as Public Member cannot be: a current employee, member of the governing Board, owner, or shareholder of, or consultant to, an institution or program that is accredited, pre-accredited, or has applied for pre-accreditation by the NWCCU; a member of any trade or membership organization related to, affiliated with, or associated with the NWCCU; or a spouse, parent, child, or sibling of a person identified in this definition of Public Representative.

Nominees for election as an Out-Of-Region Member are: persons from a higher educational institution not accredited by NWCCU. Such persons must be actively employed by an institution that is accredited by an institutional accreditor recognized by the United States Department of Education.

Please see NWCCU’s Bylaws for additional information regarding membership, terms of service, and other criteria.

Please submit your nominations, along with, a resume or curriculum vitae, by email to president@nwccu.org by April 15, 2022.

The nominees will be vetted by the Nominating and Development Committee, which will then recommend a slate of nominees to be voted on by NWCCU membership. The individual elected by the NWCCU membership to serve on the Board will be seated at the June 2022 Commission Meeting.
