Rachel Campbell

Rachel Campbell (she/her) serves as an Executive Assistant at the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Before joining NWCCU, Rachel worked as a Legislative Assistant to the Chair of the Postsecondary Education & Workforce Committee in the Washington State House of Representatives. This experience gave her a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing students and institutions alike, as well as an appreciation for the power of policy to drive meaningful change. Rachel’s background in public service has shaped how she approaches her work today: she values collaboration and coalition-building and thrives when working alongside people from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives. She brings that same spirit of partnership to her role at NWCCU, helping ensure the organization runs smoothly while staying connected to the broader mission of educational quality and accountability.
Rachel has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology, from Western Washington University. She lives in Seattle, Washington, where she enjoys exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. A self-proclaimed lighthouse enthusiast, she loves visiting lighthouses in the region and collecting stamps for her lighthouse passport along the way.
