Dr. Paige Fenton Hughes currently serves as a Lead Evaluator for Cognia and previously served in the same role for AdvancED, leading accreditation reviews across the United States and internationally for Department of Defense schools. Her work focuses on institutional effectiveness, governance, and continuous improvement, supported by expertise in process and performance management and systemlevel leadership. She most recently served as Interim Executive Director of the Wyoming Community College Commission. Before that she was the superintendent in Converse County School District #1 in Douglas, Wyoming, as well as in Lander, Wyoming, and Harding County, South Dakota, and was Coordinator for the Wyoming State Board of Education. Dr. Fenton Hughes has more than 30 years of experience in education, including roles as a teacher, counselor, principal, and district leader. Dr. Fenton Hughes is a native of Montana and holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of South Dakota, along with graduate and undergraduate degrees in educational leadership, counseling, English, and history/political science.
